Sillette-Sonic has been manufacturing sterndrives since 1975, from which a full range of Sonic marine transmission systems for motor cruisers, yachts and catamarans were developed. The Company's Hydrodrive Transmission Units have been supplied to the winners of Whitbread Round the World Races and several Admirals Cup winners. Sillette also provides a spare part and service facility for Enfield and Transadrive sterndrives.
In 1990 Sillette-Sonic started importing propellers from Gori Marine A/S in Denmark, and Eliche Radice in Italy. Bronze Eliche Radice propellers are available in two, three or four blade form, together with aluminium sterndrive and saildrive propellers. The Gori folding propeller is available in either a two or three blade form. To complement these, a range of lake sterngear and bow thrusters have been developed.
Sillette also imports a range of marine steering wheels from Italy to complement their Morse Control Sales, for which they keep the largest stock in the London area. Sillette is a main dealer for Yanmar and Lombardini marine diesels.
